Auger Sampling Systems solve the problems associated with hand sampling whether you are sampling from stock piles, trucks, ships and rail cars. It is difficult to get a representative sample from any of these applications without the use of this type of system. Auger samplers collect a vertical increment of coal. This single unit of coal can from a rail car or truck where the sample can be collected from the top of the pile to the bottom.
